400 g nettles, ripe tomatoes, onion, bacon;mince, sauté; add nettles, vegetable broth, cook for 30 min and serve with toast.

Can you eat nettles?

400 g of nettles

4 ripe tomatoes

80 g of diced bacon

1 onion

1 liter of vegetable broth

8 slices of homemade bread

extra virgin olive oil

salt and pepper to taste

Clean the nettles, blanch them, drain them and break them up.

Soak the tomatoes, peel and chop or coarsely grate them.

Chop the onion.

Proceed to brown the bacon with the onion with a little extra virgin olive oil.

Add the nettles and tomatoes and with a ladle add broth and cook the soup for about 25 to 30 minutes.

In the meantime, toast the bread that you will add to the soup once it is ready.
