FATTORIA ZOFF has been breeding the Friulian pezzata rossa for four generations, Friulian because it was born here in the Friuli Venezia Giulia region and until 1985 was called ‘Friulana’, later Italian pezzata rossa.
Since the second half of the 19th century, when farming was the main occupation in FVG, the Pezzato Rosso cattle was bred for its threefold aptitude of work-meat-milk.
The FARMHOUSE ZOFF is located in Borgnano, near Cormons in Friuli Venezia Giulia.
